Here at Photos From Ireland I run landscape and portrait photography workshops and photo tours in the wild rugged and beautiful location of Co. Donegal. I am a photographer based here in Co. Donegal and love to capture landscape photography and portrait photography and also combining the two to create lifetime memories. Irish landscape photography is amazing here in Co. I organise and run photography workshops here in Ireland from beginners right through to advanced photography. I am a portrait photographer which is a genre of photography that focuses on capturing images of individuals or groups of people, showcasing their personalities and emotions. The primary goal of portrait photography is to create a visual representation of the subject that is both aesthetically pleasing and accurately represents their likeness. A photo shoot is a session in which a photographer takes pictures of a subject or subjects, often with the intention of producing a set of portraits. Portrait photo shoots can take place in a variety of settings, ranging from a professional studio with controlled lighting to an outdoor location with natural light. Whether the shoot is planned or spontaneous, the key to a successful portrait is the connection between the photographer and the subject, as this helps to create images that truly capture the essence of the person being photographed. This is something that I do very well at putting my subjects at ease and relaxed and amazing images are created from each and every photo shoot.

Donegal, Ireland and would like to share my country with you through my love of digital photography.  Wild rugged landscapes, weather that can change and you can have four seasons in the one day make for powerful and stunning images.  We are lucky to be in a location one of the few places in Ireland where the Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis can be seen at times.
